Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host Traci Stumpf were invited to come out to cover the 27th American Cinematheque Award Benefit Gala honoring Jerry Bruckheimer who was toasted by friends and colleagues at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. Bruce Willis presented the award to Jerry Bruckheimer with several pre-taped and in-person tributes from Justin Bartha, Cuba Gooding Jr., Wayne Gretzky, Armie Hammer, Marg Helgenberger, Sir Ben Kingsley, Dame Helen Mirren, Luc Robitaille, Jon Turteltaub, Jon Voight Diane Warren, Hans Zimmer, Eric Bana, Nicolas Cage, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp, Martin Lawrence and Judge Reinhold.

About the Week Long Tribute
The American Cinematheque is also holding a mini-career retrospective of the work of Jerry Bruckheimer from December 13 – 16 at the Aero and Egyptian Theatres. Bruckheimer will appear in person with a double feature of THE ROCK and BAD BOYS on Saturday, December 14 at 7:30 PM. He will sign copies of his brand new book Jerry Bruckheimer: When Lightning Strikes – Four Decades of Filmmaking in the lobby of the Aero at 6:30 PM. The retrospective will also include a Tom Cruise double feature of TOP GUN and DAYS OF THUNDER in 70MM, ENEMY OF THE STATE, BLACK HAWK DOWN, THIEF and AMERICAN GIGOLO. Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, JJ Snyder, were invited to come out and cover the 2012 Rising Stars Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA).

At the event BBBSLA honored outstanding members of the Los Angeles community who inspire and portray positive role models for young people. Among those recognized were Sumner M. Redstone, Executive Chairman of Viacom and CBS Corporation, who received the Walt Disney Man of the Year Award; Dana Walden, Chairman of Twentieth Century Fox Television, received the Sherry Lansing Award; Roshon Fegan, actor, musical artist and producer, received the Rising Star Award; and long-time BBBSLA Guild member Kim Vamos was honored with the Trailblazer Award. Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Linda Antwi, were invited to come out and cover the inaugural REBELS WITH A CAUSE gala hosted by University of Southern California’s Center for Applied Molecular Medicine honoring media titan Sumner M. Redstone and Nobel Laureate Murray Gell-Mann, Ph.D. at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. This fundraiser supports the lifesaving research of David B. Agus, M.D., Director, USC Westside Cancer Center and USC Center for Applied Molecular Medicine. Carmen A. Puliafito, M.D., M.B.A., Dean, Keck School of Medicine of USC is Honorary Co-Chair and Beverly and Robert Cohen are Co-Chairs. The gala featured special guest performances by Tony Bennett and Neil Young; Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actress/comedian Tracey Ullman, emcees.

The principal goal of the USC Center for Applied Molecular Medicine is the development of novel treatment strategies for cancer. The Center was implemented to enable a convergence of multiple disciplines to work on treatment and the care of patients with cancer. The program includes the clinical care of patients with cancer at the USC Westside Cancer Center in Beverly Hills and has team members with expertise spanning cancer biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, computer science, electrical engineering, bioorganic chemistry, physics and applied mathematics.
