With Awards season in full swing, many awards shows are taking place between now and the Oscars on 26 February. One of the categories is the Best Animated Feature, which was also a category at the 39th Annie Awards last night (and has been a predictor for who gets the Oscar in years past). The Annie Awards also honor overall excellence and individual achievement in 28 categories ranging from best feature, production design, character animation, and effects animation to storyboarding, writing, music, editing and voice acting.
