Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, JJ Snyder, were invited to come out and cover the 2012 Primetime Creative Arts Emmys held on Saturday, September 15th at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. The event will air on Saturday, September 22nd at 8:00pm ET/PT on REELZCHANNEL. Spike Jones, Jr. was back Producer of the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

This year, HBO received the most wins with 17 Creative Emmy Awards with CBS getting 13 and PBS 11. HBO’s “Game of Thrones” received six Creative Emmys and followed by “Saturday Night Live,” PBS Masterpiece miniseries “Great Expectations,” and Discovery Channel’s “Frozen Planet” each won four Creative Arts Emmys.

The Primetime Creative Emmy® Awards are a part of The 64th Primetime Emmy® Awards presented in recognition of technical and other similar achievements in television programming. They are commonly awarded to behind-the-scenes personnel such as art directors, costume designers, cinematographers, casting directors, and sound editors. The Creative Arts category also includes awards for outstanding animated programs and guest acting.
