Sean Lowe, The Bachelor

Sean Lowe, The Bachelor

Ladies, get ready for another exciting season of The Bachelor.

Most of us remember, heart-throb, Sean Lowe from the season of The Bachelorette with Emily Maynard, who passed on “the perfect man” eliminating him and shocking not only Sean but all of us watching.

Now, it’s Sean’s turn to find love and we believe he has his hands full with this group of single ladies.

We’re excited to say that we got to speak with Sean about the next edition of ABC’s hit romance reality series, “The Bachelor,” and want to recommend that our Red Carpet Report fans tune in on Monday, January 7, 2013 for the season opener… it’s one you won’t want to miss!

In case this is your first time hearing about the new Bachelor, Sean, here’s some deets: he’s 29 years old and is a successful entrepreneur who lives in Dallas. He’s very close to his family, and a true Southern gentleman. He’d also like to have a big family and is very focused on family values as demonstrated by his relationships with his parents and sister.  Sean is 6’3″ and attended Kansas State on a full football scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He started in finance and then moved into the insurance industry but now he is the proud owner of an upscale, custom furniture business. Sean loves to camp, wakeboard, dance, be outdoors, go to concerts and have fun with his two dogs, Lola and Ellie.

Our Chat with Sean

Operator: Your next question comes from Stephanie Piche from Red Carpet Report.

Stephanie Piche: Hi Sean. I really enjoyed getting to know you on The Bachelorette, and we’re excited to see what happens this season. My question for you is, how many rules are you going to break this time around?

Sean Lowe: You know, I’ve never been one to really conform to rules that are set, so you’re going to see me break quite a few rules, and I did The Bachelor for a specific reason. It was to find the love of my life, and I feel like there were certain points in the season where I couldn’t follow the rules. I had to follow my heart as opposed to the rules, and so I think you’re going to see me breaking quite a few rules this season.

Stephanie Piche: OK. And, what’s the best advice your parents have given you about participating in this process?

Sean Lowe: You know, my parents know me better than anyone else, and they told me, just be yourself and stay true to who you are and then, you know, of course, stay in prayer and everything’s going to work itself out. And, they trust me and they trust my judgment and so they knew that, you know, I would follow my heart, and they knew that I’d represent the family well and ultimately make the decision that’s best for me.

Stephanie Piche: Great… And, one quick question. What’s your pet peeve, stuff that you’ve found with this whole process with these ladies?

Sean Lowe: Oh, biggest pet peeve. Like I said earlier, it’s almost inevitable for this to happen, but it always irritated me when girls would get caught up more in the drama and then they would lose focus on the real reason that they were there. And, you know, of course, I want them to focus on the relationship that we’re developing and not focus on all the other BS going on with the other women in the house.

Stephanie Piche: Of course. Thanks so much and good luck.

Sean Lowe: Thank you very much.

You Don’t Have to Like Reality TV to Love This New Original Web Series

Okay, I have to admit, I am not a reality TV show consumer. Yes, Mingle Media TV produces LIVE web TV but not, reality TV. But I am a lover of TV and a lover of the hit TV show, Lost.

Imagine my surprise when at the Digital Hollywood conference last week, I met the creators of  “Lost on ‘da Jersey Shore” a smart, ridiculously funny mash-up of these two “hit” shows.

You don’t have to have watched the MTV series Jersey Shore to know who Snooki or the Situation is. Just watching TV, entertainment news or Dancing with the Stars will have introduced you to them at the very least.

More than likely, you’re like me, someone who misses the TV Show Lost and now see the stars on other shows, longing for a time when they were together or the network decides to bring them back in a reunion show….

Well, the creative minds behind Lost at ‘da Jersey Shore have done something even better, they’ve mashed the two story lines into one original web series that can tide our need for what happens next or who did what to whom into a fun series we can laugh out loud to. Jen Kucsak and Richard Salazar did an awesome job in making this series both in the story and creativity to the production.

We’re so sure you’ll appreciate the humor of Lost at ‘da Jersey Shore, that we begged, bargained and traded our interns for a chance to host this series on our network. (not really but we would have).

So kick back and click play and watch this original series now on Mingle Media TV. Be sure to follow them on Twitter and Facebook too!

If you have an original web series that you’d like us to host, promote and share with our growing audience at our Network – let us know.
