reblogged from the Red Carpet Report
The Red Carpet Report Team was invited to be the guests of Knott’s Berry Farm on Saturday, June 15th for their grand opening of the Boardwalk Expansion and the re-opening of it’s classic Timber Mountain Log Ride! Will you join us? We were there a few months ago and had an amazing time. Did you catch our VINE clips online? Here’s one of our host Ashley dancing to the music: Ashley at #KnottsSpringFling
What’s New at Knotts?
We’re excited to get an early start to see the additional 3 attractions in the Boardwalk area:
- Coast Rider- The ultimate family coaster experience, Coast Rider climbs to a height of 52 feet before embarking on a harrowing journey down the 1,339 feet of track filled with hairpin turns, twists and spins.
- Surfside Glider- Guests can pilot their own Surfside Glider from a height of 28 feet. These two-person aircrafts zip through the air providing a bird’s eye view of the Boardwalk area as they glide over Boardwalk Bay.
- Pacific Scrambler – A family favorite and traditional Boardwalk attraction returns offering an exhilarating spin.
Plus, did you know that Knott’s just completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment project on the historic Timber Mountain Log Ride? Yes, that’s right! This classic attraction originally opened in 1969, changing the landscape of Knott’s and furthering its status as America’s first theme park and now it will be even more popular attraction with the thousands of guests who will be visiting in the future each year.

What are you waiting for?
Southern California theme parks are lots of fun, but being able to enjoy and afford them is getting harder, that’s why we’re recommending Knott’s Berry Farm. This writer’s family took her and her brother there many years ago and we still enjoy the safe, fun and awesome family atmosphere… and ticket price.
