At the event, the press got to watch as Cheryl Cecchetto unveiled the décor for the ball along with the floral theme unveiled by Mark Garden. Of course, the Governors Ball Press Preview would not be complete without seeing, talking to and tasting Wolfgang Puck and his team of chefs menu samples. Also on hand were Sterling Vineyards with their reserve selection of wines and Champagne Thiénot with the exclusive champagne for the ball. Johnnie Walker, Baileys and Cîroc as revealed their featured cocktails and recipes to share with our audience in hopes of inspiring hostesses for Oscar Sunday.

We also got to see this year’s “envelope” as Marc Friedland unveiled the design of the envelopes and announcement cards bearing the names of Oscar winners – don’t worry, we didn’t see anyone’s name… we all have to wait until March 2nd, Oscar Sunday!
