Two Polar Opposite Ex-Wives & Now a #TrophyWife? What Mayhem Will Pursue? Watch Tuesday Nights on ABC #Comedy

We got to chat with Marcia Gay Harden (ex-wife #1) and Michaela Watkins (ex-wife #2) of  Bradley Whitford’s character who is now married to wife #3 Malin Akerman on the new ABC comedy, “Trophy Wife.”

Now this show might sound like a stretch for a blended family with ex’s but look around, there are many, many families like this and some of the ex’s are nightmares to deal with and some have boundary issues and then there’s the new, cute wife, what to do with her? Let’s just say that you’ll be able to relate to this tongue-in-cheek comedy as the family members learn to be a “family” united even though they may make some mistakes along the way.

In addition to honoring celebrities for their work to inspire others, and a night filled with great musical performances, one young “do-er” (age 25 and under) will receive a grand prize of $100,000 for their cause and the four other nominees will receive a $10,000 community grant. VH1’s Do Something Awards will take place on Wednesday, July 31 and will be hosted by the lovely Sophia Bush!

Celebrity presenters will include Malin Akerman, Lucy Hale, Cynthia Nixon, Russell Simmons, Aisha Tyler and VH1′s Jason Dundas.

The Honorees

This year’s celebration will honor Patrick Dempsey, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jennifer Hudson, LL Cool J, and Kelly Osbourne for their works toward social change, as well as one young “do-er” for their efforts to shine on a light on important issues facing the world today.
