Season 3 of “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” will debut this Friday, January 3, featuring guest stars Jack McBrayer and Josh Duhamel
The new season will have new characters including pirate ghosts, mummies and robots, and special super powers and gadgets for Jake and his crew, including Jake’s Mega-Mecha Sword, a robot suit and an invisibility ring that will help the gang outwit their new adversaries.

Season 3 will also include action-packed extended length episodes and a revamped rock and roll-style theme song performed by Sharky and Bones of The Never Land Pirate Band.
New episodes will air every Friday in January and February, culminating with the premiere of a special extended episode on Friday, February 28, featuring three 11-minute stories that pit Jake against Hook in an ultimate showdown!
Plus There’s a New Game for Kids too!
Beginning Friday, January 31, DisneyJunior.com/Jake will debut the new game, “Jake and the Never Land Pirates: The Super Pirate,” where players can take on the role of Jake as he attempts to retrieve the Mega-Mecha Sword that Captain Hook has stolen and each Friday through February 28, kids are invited to unlock a new game level.

Mingle Media TV’s Red Carpet Report host Ashley Bornancin sat down with April Winchell, and spoke to him about his new animated series on the Disney Channel, “Wander Over Yonder” about Wander, an overly optimistic intergalactic traveler and his steed Sylvia traveling from planet to planet helping people have fun and live free, all against Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs’ evil reign.
Lord Hater is the most powerful villain in the universe with Commander Peepers serving as his second in command and leader of the Watchdog Army.

Get ready to take off across the galaxy in Disney Channel’s new animated adventure comedy series “Wander Over Yonder,” created and executive-produced by two-time Emmy Award-winning animator Craig McCracken (“Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends,” “The Powerpuff Girls”). The new comedy follows best friends, eternally-optimistic intergalactic traveler and constant do-gooder Wander and his quick-tempered but loyal steed Sylvia. Marvel’s president of Production Kevin Feige joined some of the top names in film on Saturday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. at the Walt Disney Studios panel to discuss Marvel Studios’ plans for 2012, including the hotly anticipated Marvel’s The Avengers!

DisneyToon Studios’ Planes It was announced that actor Jon Cryer (TV’s “Two and a Half Men”) will voice the main character in DisneyToon Studios’ Planes. Jon joined John Lasseter on stage for the announcement and to introduce the teaser trailer of the film.
Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph Director Rich Moore welcomed Jack McBrayer and Sarah Silverman on stage where the D23 audience was the first to see the opening sequence from the movie.
Disney•Pixar’s Brave Filmmakers Mark Andrews and Katherine Sarafian were joined by actors Kelly Macdonald and Kevin McKidd to present footage from the film.

Disneynature’s Chimpanzee Walt Disney Studios Chairman Rich Ross presented the next Disneynature film, Chimpanzee.
Marvel’s The Avengers The Avengers assembled at the D23 Expo, alongside producer and president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige. Stars Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders and Chris Hemsworth made an appearance to present their upcoming film.
Tickets to the D23 EXPO are available at www.D23Expo.com. Admission includes access to all experiences and entertainment at the D23 EXPO and can be purchased for single days or for the full three days of festivities. Admission is $42 for a one-day adult ticket and $32 for children 3-12. Three-day passes are $121 for adults and $91 for children. D23 Expo 2011 Highlights:
Exclusive Screenings and Sneak Peeks D23 Expo 2011 guests will sneak peeks and screenings of upcoming Disney TV shows, specials and movies and TV shows from The Avengers, The Muppets, John Carter, Brave, The Lion King in 3D, Frankenweenie, and Oz The Great + many more.
Special Past, Present and Future Disney Presentations During the three day long expo there will be lots to choose from so guests can go “behind the magic” and get an up close look at Disney theme park attractions and entertainment.
Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives Exhibit Walt Disney Archives has assembled a 12,000-square-foot exhibition featuring props, costumes and set pieces from LOST and Pirates of the Caribbean; a room devoted to 1982’s Tron, and not to be left out, there will be lots of vintage Mickey Mouse memorabilia. You’ll even get to see Walt Disney’s limousine, a 23-foot-long model of the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean and the Dharma Initiative Volkswagen van from LOST.
Convention Center Arena Presentations There’s a 4,000-seat Arena in the Anaheim Convention Center where you can watch special presentations starting with the Disney Legends ceremony, honoring individuals who have contributed to the Disney legacy including Regis Philbin, Jim Henson and the voices of many of the Disney Princesses. You’ll also get to see our favorites Zendaya and Bella Thorne and a performance by the cast of the Disney Channel hit Shake It Up.
