Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Kristyn Burtt, were invited to come out and cover the Hollywood premiere of the inspiring Disney Channel Original Movie "Let It Shine," the classic Cyrano de Bergerac story re-imagined and set in the contemporary world of hip-hop, rap and gospel music at the Director’s Guild of America. Geared towards kids, tweens and families, the movie carries themes of self-expression and self-determination – and an impressive soundtrack.

The movie was directed by Paul Hoen and written by Eric Daniel and Don D. Scott. "Let It Shine" is slated to premiere on June 15, 2012 on the Disney Channel.

The album drops on September 27 and includes their new hit single, “Blame It On September,” which is currently on Radio Disney’s Top 30 Countdown!

Want to know what fans can expect from their album? A really cool sample from Sesame Street  – yup, you heard it right.  Zach told Radio Disney the song “Bend or Break” has this amazing sample in the beat. Keep an ear out for it! Other songs to listen for include  “Sorry” and “James.”

In addition to their tour and new album dropping, Allstar Weekend shared their thoughts on Radio Disney’s “N.B.T.” contest saying, “It’s doing a cool thing for music: You guys (Radio Disney) give the opportunity for young kids to go out there and do their thing which inspires MORE kids. It’s good for young people to start their careers.”
