Middle of Nowhere Red Carpet Event at Los Angeles Film Festival

Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Stephanie Garrett, were invited to come out to the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival Screening and Red Carpet for Ava DuVernay’s “Middle of Nowhere.” Middle of Nowhere was also a 2012 Official Sundance Selection and winner of the Directing Award in the Dramatic Competition. This was 1 of only 4 gala screening events this year at the festival and the house was packed at LA Live’s Regal Cinemas 800-seat auditorium. The movie will be released to the general public in October 2012.

About Middle of Nowhere
Ava DuVernay’s elegant and emotionally inspiring debut portrays the universal dilemma of how a woman maintains herself as she commits to loving and supporting someone through hardship. Featuring luminous performances by a cast of rising stars led by Emayatzy Corinealdi and Omari Hardwick, Middle of Nowhere infuses gravity and grace into the prison tale and marks the arrival of an important new directorial talent.
