Dreama Walker is best known for her recurring character, Hazel Williams, on “Gossip Girl.” Her work in ABC’s upcoming “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” represents her first major starring role on a primetime network television series.
With an already impressive list of credits to her name, Walker was most recently seen as a recurring character on the Emmy-nominated CBS drama, “The Good Wife.” She has also guest-starred on “Mercy,” “Ugly Betty,” “Royal Pains” and “Law & Order,” and played the lead in the Lifetime miniseries “Seven Deadly Sins” in 2010.
On the big screen, Walker played the granddaughter of Clint Eastwood’s character in the critically lauded “Gran Torino,” directed and produced by the legendary Eastwood. She also appeared in “The Invention of Lying,” with Ricky Gervais and Jennifer Garner, and just completed production on two independent films, “Chlorine,” starring Kyra Sedgwick and Tom Sizemore, and “Compliance,” opposite Ann Dowd and Pat Healy. Walker will next be seen alongside Jonah Hill in “The Sitter.”

Mingle Media TV’s Kristyn Burtt got to sit down with Debby and talk about her new project, Radio Rebel, shot last summer in Maple Ridge British Columbia, Canada.. Debby Ryan recorded three songs: “We Ended Right” featuring Chase Ryan and Chad Hiverly, and “A Wish Comes True Every Day” and a cover version of the Go-Go’s “We Got the Beat.”
Radio Rebel will be premiering Friday, February 17 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on the Disney Channel and is based on the novel Shrinking Violet and includes Ryan performing the smash hit, “We Got the Beat.”
Radio Rebel is a 2012 Disney Channel Original Movie based on a novel titled Shrinking Violet. The movie was directed by Peter Howitt, written by Erik Patterson & Jessica Scott, and stars Debby Ryan as Tara Adams. The movie was accompanied by a week long line-up called We Got the Beat Week composing of Disney Channel series, movies, and new music videos.

The movie depicts the life of a shy schoolgirl named Tara Adams, who secretly has a radio personality called Radio Rebel. Alba Tull is an accomplished photographer who has worked with artists and musicians including The Edge (of U2), Jimmy Page, Guillermo del Toro, Bryan Singer, and others. Mrs. Tull’s work has been published and exhibited around the world. She served as the photographer and associate producer of Davis Guggenheim’s It Might Get Loud, and she is currently working on a special project for the American Film Institute (AFI).

There is nothing more exciting than to be invited to go to a movie screening or red carpet here in Los Angeles, but to do it with a correspondent, her two kids and experience the fun through the eyes of children as part of the event.
Mingle Media TV was invited to attend the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel DVD launch party. We asked Andrea, from SavvySassyMoms, to come and (shh! one missed school) bring her two kids. Andrea got to interview director, Betty Thomas, choreographer, Rosero McCoy, producer, Ross Bagdasarian Jr and Chipettes founder Janice Karman.
The event was amazing and Fox Studios really had a nice program with a presentation and behind the scenes overview, kids activities from a sing-along to photo opps with the Chipmunks, dance lessons with Rosero McCoy, t-shirt coloring and snacks!
Personally speaking, I have always admired Betty Thomas (Emmy award winning actress) especially for her work on Hill Street Blues (my father was a policeman and loved that show). She has made several movies from Only You, The Brady Bunch Movie, Dr. Dolittle, 28 Days, I Spy, Charlie’s Angels and Surviving Christmas to name a few.
Rosero McCoy, Choreographer, mapped out the steps for Alvin, Simon and Theodore for the original Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and came back for the Squeakquel. He has also worked on Vanilla Sky and Randy Jackson’s America Dance Crew.
Ross Bagdasarian Jr. and his wife Janice Karman are the team responsible for the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise today. The Chipmunks were originally created by Ross Bagdasarian Sr. in 1958 and Ross Jr took over the family business and with Karman, brought a new commitment to the characters.
