Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report hosts, Ashley Bornancin, were invited to cover the 2013 Academy Awards Nominees and Presenters with a red carpet Gift Lounge sponsored by GBK, the luxury lifestyle gift lounge and special events company. Special guests were indulged with luxury gifts, music, gourmet food and an opportunity to support the multiple charity sponsors featured at the event. We also got to interview, Danielle Rios, who designed the lounge, Interior Design From The Runway, including art by Monika Jensen Productions and gorgeous floral arrangements by Hermine Flowers and Gifts.

This year GBK organized several charities to benefit from their giving good practice and had “Pledge to Quit” smoking initiative, Global Green USA, the American affiliate of Green Cross International, The Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation, supporting Juvenile diabetes, Beat Liver Tumors, City of Hope, The Creative Coalition, and Guard A Heart. This year’s event took place at the L’Ermitage Beverly Hills and offered guests an opportunity to enjoy gifts, refreshments and a gorgeous tented event with pool-side spa services and music by DJ eTunes. One of the best parts of the GBK gift lounge is their charitable focus as this year’s lounge benefited City of Hope, working to transform the future of health by turning science into practical benefit and hope into reality Lambda Legal and their ongoing efforts for equal and fair treatment of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
