What’s New at Knotts?

We’re excited to get an early start to see the additional 3 attractions in the Boardwalk area:

• Coast Rider- The ultimate family coaster experience, Coast Rider climbs to a height of 52 feet before embarking on a harrowing journey down the 1,339 feet of track filled with hairpin turns, twists and spins.
• Surfside Glider- Guests can pilot their own Surfside Glider from a height of 28 feet. These two-person aircrafts zip through the air providing a bird’s eye view of the Boardwalk area as they glide over Boardwalk Bay.
• Pacific Scrambler – A family favorite and traditional Boardwalk attraction returns offering an exhilarating spin.

Plus, did you know that Knott’s just completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment project on the historic Timber Mountain Log Ride? Yes, that’s right! This classic attraction originally opened in 1969, changing the landscape of Knott’s and furthering its status as America’s first theme park and now it will be even more popular attraction with the thousands of guests who will be visiting in the future each year.

Opening Night New Media Film Festival: Susan Johnston,Brett Stimely, Sally Kirkland, John Savage, Blanco Blanco, Tamara Henry

Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, JJ Snyder, were invited to come out and cover the 3rd Annual New Media Film Festival held at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles. This year the festival gave Ray Bradbury a Legend Award at the opening night ceremony.

The festival also screened 80 new media films from 14 countries and had a full day of panels with a roster that read like a who’s-who in new media, gaming and Hollywood and include multi-genre actors, writers, directors, producers from Web, TV, Movies, and Games.
