Mingle Media TV’s Red Carpet Report host Brandi Chang were invited to come out to cover The Last Emperor 3D Screening Gala at the 2013 AFI Fest held at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. The last Emperor is the winner of nine Oscars®, this visually sumptuous drama has been transformed into 3-D by director Bernardo Bertolucci and cinematographer Vittorio Storaro. This presentation was the North American Premiere of the 3D version of the film.

Friday Night’s Gala screening was of director Ang Lee’s THE LIFE OF PI in 3D, a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a disaster at sea and is hurled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery.

Also at AFI was the Los Angeles Times’ Young Hollywood Roundtable with Amy Kaufman talking to four acclaimed young talents — Bella Heathcote (NOT FADE AWAY), Logan Lerman (THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER), Aubrey Plaza (PARKS AND RECREATION, SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (SMASHED) about life behind the scenes, the art of acting and the upcoming award season.
