We got to chat with Marcia Gay Harden (ex-wife #1) and Michaela Watkins (ex-wife #2) of Bradley Whitford’s character who is now married to wife #3 Malin Akerman on the new ABC comedy, “Trophy Wife.”
Now this show might sound like a stretch for a blended family with ex’s but look around, there are many, many families like this and some of the ex’s are nightmares to deal with and some have boundary issues and then there’s the new, cute wife, what to do with her? Let’s just say that you’ll be able to relate to this tongue-in-cheek comedy as the family members learn to be a “family” united even though they may make some mistakes along the way.

Malin Akerman is Kate, a reformed party girl who marries Brad (Bradley Whitford) after meeting him at a karaoke bar. He comes with a lot of baggage though: three manipulative kids and two ex-wives (Marcia Gay Harden and Michaela Watkins) who, suffice it to say, don’t approve of Kate. Shocking!
