The Alliance of Women in Media, formerly known as American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT), will honor the 2013 National Award winners at the 38th Annual Gracie Awards Gala. Disney Junior to Debut New Kid’s Nutritious Cooking Series “That’s Fresh: For Kids”

Leave it to Disney to continue take the steps to helping our children learn (while being entertained) with “That’s Fresh: For Kids,” a new version of the popular Disney Junior Night Light cooking series “That’s Fresh.” Each of these new episodes will be hosted by Chef Helen Cavallo, and will encourage young viewers to play an active role in the cooking process and be part of the choice to make healthy eating habits a part of their lives.

The recipes are easy and safe to prepare and include Veggie Rolls, Fruit Kabobs, Trail Mix, Berry Pops and Doc McStuffins’ No Bake Muffins. The foods are “Mickey Approved” and meet Disney’s Nutrition Guidelines limiting calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar.
