Tonight’s the Night, E3 Event: Xbox 360 Kinect with Cirque du Soleil

So what the heck is Kinect? Well, it’s controller free gaming…from Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console (imagine saving money with no add-ons and accidentally tossing your controller into your flatscreen – not saying I have done this…). If you can’t visualize this… watch the promo video below.

Tonight, the Mingle Media crew will be attending the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) Kinect event… last night they taped the event which will play tomorrow commercial free for everyone who couldn’t be here (info below). But tonight, many of the Los Angeles social media influencers will be there along with E3 attendees for a LIVE encore of the new Kinect system from Microsoft Xbox 360 Experience and Cirque du Soleil performance!

We’ll be going to LA’s Galen Center for an exclusive 45-minute experience with Cirque du Soleil (they spent four months developing and producing this special show). Tonight we’ll get to see a cast of 76 dancers, musicians, acrobats, and clowns, accompanied by 25-foot-high projection screens which will be more than a football field in length, a gigantic 9-foot-tall elephant puppet with projection screens and a 40-foot-diameter steel structure that rotates on its axis and weighs as much as 25 VW Beetles. Crazy huh??

Don’t forget: tomorrow night (Tuesday) you can watch this event commercial free!!

Here’s where and when: MTV on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 3:30 pm ET/PT, and on Nick at Nite, mtvU, MTV Hits, and Logo at 9 pm ET/PT. Learn more about the event here: http://www.xbox.com/kinect

Stay tuned for more from us as we have yet to experience it… but we will be reporting on it here at Mingle Media TV.
