Before the Bash
In preparation for the “Halloween Bash,” the Hub Network launched a nationwide costume competition. Fifty semi-finalists representing each state in America will win a trip to Los Angeles to be a part of the two-hour star-studded event. One lucky winner will take home $25,000 and will have a chance at a walk-on role on the Hub Network’s Daytime Emmy® Award-winning series, “R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.” Viewers can visit hubworld.com/halloween to learn more and to view all of the Halloween costume submissions. We got to chat with Marcia Gay Harden (ex-wife #1) and Michaela Watkins (ex-wife #2) of Bradley Whitford’s character who is now married to wife #3 Malin Akerman on the new ABC comedy, “Trophy Wife.”
Now this show might sound like a stretch for a blended family with ex’s but look around, there are many, many families like this and some of the ex’s are nightmares to deal with and some have boundary issues and then there’s the new, cute wife, what to do with her? Let’s just say that you’ll be able to relate to this tongue-in-cheek comedy as the family members learn to be a “family” united even though they may make some mistakes along the way.
Malin Akerman is Kate, a reformed party girl who marries Brad (Bradley Whitford) after meeting him at a karaoke bar. He comes with a lot of baggage though: three manipulative kids and two ex-wives (Marcia Gay Harden and Michaela Watkins) who, suffice it to say, don’t approve of Kate. Shocking!
