Since 1954, The HSUS has been fighting for the protection of all animals through advocacy, education and hands-on programs. We rescue and care for tens of thousands of animals each year, but our primary mission is to prevent cruelty before it occurs. We’re there for all animals, across America and around the world. Michael Welch of Twilight’s Season of Giving for Thirst Project

Join the Mingle Media TV Community and help Michael Welch by joining his $5 Buck Club. Michael wants us all to join him in celebrating the holidays by raising funds for The Thirst Project. Did you know that over 1.1 Billion people do not have access to safe, clean drinking water and proper sanitization? The Thirst Project is a non-profit organization focused on raising awareness of and bringing solutions to the clean water crisis through Education Outreach Programs, which serve to educate, equip, and empower communities in need of water by drilling wells. By helping the communities access water, The Thirst Project changes the very basic fabric of these communities by decreasing illness, increasing education, and extending life expectancy. For more information, please go to: http://www.thirstproject.org Now for the cool part, Michael Welch is asking his Twilight fans via this video PSA, Twitter and Facebook to get involved by donating $5 during the month of December. His goal is to have a minimum of 5,000 people – and if we come together to help him reach this goal, one lucky contributor will get to go with him to Africa and help drill a well & join him in the journey which will be documented for The Thirst Project. So what are you waiting for? Go to http://www.thirstproject.org and make a one-time donation of $5 – like us, we know you’ll be glad you did. Pay it forward this holiday season.
